Last Wild Brazilian Macaw of its Kind in Rio is Lonely and Haunts the Bird Cage at the City Zoo

There used to be all kinds of these beautiful birds everywhere in the city, but only one lone female left in the wild as far as is known.

Is this the fate of other species in Rio, and elsewhere?
