  1. Have been on Birdlife International website. Many European migratory birds suffer from illegal netting. E.g. In Cyprus they serve up the blackcap warblers as a delicacy in some restaurants. Malta is infamous for its ‘legal’ shooting down of birds. And the Balkans for illegal trophy hunting of vultures. Seems there are more pairs of vultures in Portugal and Spain. Is there a problem in the USA with migratory bird numbers? Illegal trapping? In South America where they might migrate to?
