Grizzly Bear Hunting Banned!

Grizzly Bear Trophy  and Meat hunting of Grizzly Bears will no longer be permitted in Canada’s province of British Columbia, home to an estimated 15, 000 grizzly bears. Only First Nations with Treaty Hunting Rights will be able to continue to hunt these bears in their own territories.

Licensed hunters took 250 bears last year from the diminishing bear population. The new provincial government states that hunting these great bears for sport is no longer an acceptable activity by the public…
